Our expert has developed an advanced testing technique for testing integrity of piles in soil. Although the method is based on the well-known principle of low strain integrity test, the technology of analysis and identification is the advance of the development.
To best model the wave propagation in pile and solve for the wave solution accurately, the wave in pile is solved exactly in the full frequency range (-∞ to +∞) then the resolutions is converted into the time domain for curve fitting in structural identification. Unlike other methods using FEM approximations, this method is based on the exact solution in frequency domain and this is taken advantage in the structural identification for evaluating integrity of piles.
A pile testing equipment was developed for demonstrating the method and application in testing of deep drilling piles.
