Based on expertise and experience in control and testing, LABSEN collaborates with manufacturers for improving both hardware and control software and enhancing testing and measuring functions of our distributed testing machines.
This option is needed when users run complex tests using our supplied testing machines in combining with their existing measuring systems (such multi additional sensors, camera, external data acquisition and/or real-time controllers), without ordering entire new testing systems.

In this illustration, a standard Universal Testing Machine (UTM, including frame and a control PC) with additional hardware and software (added into the UTM PC) is connected with an external measurement system (NI DAQ or similar system) while the additional measurement (from external senors on the specimen and a digital camera) is acquired by a Labview software on the external computer (DAQ PC).
With software programming in Labview, the NI DAQ system can send trigger signals to both the UTM and the camera for starting the test and recording/taking images. As soon as the triggering occurs, the software in the DAQ PC starts recording all measured signals (force and displacement from the UTM, signals from additional sensors on the specimen) and the camera data.
More powerfully, our distributed material testing machines can run external command mode. This allows higher order of flexibility in running complicated tests by programming on the external computer as users need.
Basically, we provide the enhancing option on our distributed testing machines while our customers can handle their uses of our machines together with their existing equipment for specific applications.
If requested, we also supply Customized Measuring Systems , Universal Data Acquisition Software and Real-time Control Systems to make the availability of hardware and software ready for most complex testing needs.
