Miniature Directional Sensors
LABSEN is distributing high-end directional sensors manufactured by ZITN which has been manufacturing transducers for aerospace, military and oil drilling industries for 17 years long.
The DS560 and DS580 directional sensors are designed to enable high accuracy measurement of the roll, axis alignment and azimuth orientation angles in borehole logging and drilling applications.
These sensors communicates with the outside world over a serial bidirectional TTL or a RS232 interface. Two available communication protocols can be selected according to specific requirements:
- Binary system: under this system, user needs to send one bit for data request and the sensor responds with multi-bit data package.
- ASCII : ASCII protocol acquires data by sending ASCII character to the sensor, the data is transmitted as ASCII data flow..
Features
- High temperature:0~135℃ (DS560) or 0~130℃ (DS580)
- High accuracy:±0.2° (DS560) or ±0.1° (DS580)
- Digital data transmission
- With minimum size of 20.4 x 19.1 x 117.8 (mm)
Applications
- Borehole logging
- Magnetic compass
- Orientation determination for buoys, sonar systems, etc.
