    IEPE Accelerometer has a piezo ceramics sensing element and a built-in amplifier that converts the high impedance charge into a low impedance voltage signal. An IEPE transducer needs a constant current (from 2 mA to 20 mA, typically 2 mA or 4 mA), which is supplied by either an IEPE power supply or an IEPE input channel of data acquisition equipment.

    Features:

    • Low impedance (<100Ω) with capability of extremely long cable in bad environment without large noise.

    • Fixed voltage sensitivity which has nothing to do with the length of cable and capacitance.

    • Using cheap universal coaxial cable or two-wire cable.

    • Low impedance voltage output can be matched with universal readout/ readout/ process instrument.

    • Only low cost constant current power is needed without using expensive charge amplifier.

    • Reduction of maintenance need
